Tandem bearings T5AR1242 M5CT1242 consist of several axial cylindrical roller bearings arranged in line,The rings and washers are made from hardened steel. Tandem bearings are predominantly fitted with standard axial cylindrical roller and bearing assemblies. It have the characteristics of small radial cross-sectional size, compact structure, large axial load capacity, uniform load of each row of rollers, wear resistance, low vibration noise and long life.

Tandem bearings have the following structural types:

The basic type tandem bearing is to connect the shaft ring, the seat ring and the roller-cage assembly through the elastic spacer. This type of bearing is a separate structure, the parts can be disassembled, and it must be carefully installed and disassembled according to the numbering sequence provided by our company.
The tandem bearing with shaft is a modified structure bearing. A shaft is inserted in the inner hole of the basic tandem bearing, and the bearing is fixed on the shaft with an elastic lock ring. The bearing parts of this type are inseparable, and it is very convenient to install and dismount the whole bearing during use.

When using tandem bearings T5AR1242  M5CT1242 , the following recommendations should be adhered to:
1. Preload: 1% of the dynamic basic load rating. The dynamic basic load rating of each tandem bearing . Figures not listed will be provided by out institute on request.
2. Radial guidance: full complement cylindrical roller bearings or needle roller bearings can be used.
3. Eliminate tilting: the supporting parts must be machined to eliminate any tilting.
4. Mounting tolerances: recommended the following mounting tolerances: shaft f6 and housing bore F7.
5. Lubrication: tandem bearings must always be lubricated by oil circulation.
